    We have spent a good deal of time trying various workarounds.
    we have an audiocodes sbc , and we configured it so it would provide the hold music
    so we have now
    call on hold > music from sbc
    consult trasnfer > no music
    but the interesting thing we found was
    call on hold > THEN > consult transfer > music from sbc

    it somehow remembers the signal from being put on hold first then to consult transfer.....

    the issue seems to be that consult trnsferer is not sending a signal to the SBC that it can understand

    maybe if that could be addressed it wouldnt matter about MS teams having to provide the hold music....

    1.3.00.24755 version does not fix my issue with jabra engage 75
    after call is hung up or transferred the base unit is still "in a call" the call timer on the base unit is still counting and the "phantom" call cannot be hung up , either by pressing the hang up button on the base unit or the headset itself.
    teams has correctly transfered the call , but the signal to tell the base unit that the call has ended is not working

    We have changed now to teams only mode, and it makes no difference we have the same issues.
    jabra engage 65 , the base unit does not hang up transfered calls even though the call is transfered, the buttons on the base unit will not hang up this phantom call either.

    reception agent transfers call , baseunit does not hang up the call correctly
    it passes the call , but the base unit thinks the call is still active, cannot hang up using button on base station. the next incoming call cannot be answered using the button on headset, and sometime the transfer button is then greyed out
    tickets open with microsoft and jabra

    another landis customer here
    we are in a half way house now, with lync 2013 and teams fully deployed for chat
    we are under pressure to move voice to teams aswell but cannot until we have a
    workable solution for our receptionists
    the licensing cost of voice in teams (hello E3/E5 licenses) would be a sizeable chunk
    of revenue microsoft could be collecting already....
