Without settings, I can not make sure my setup is correct. e.g. in Teams my web cam did not work. Windows device settings tells me the USB Webcam is ready for use. Skype settings lets me configure the cam. But how do I qualify if Teams has an issue with my cam if I do not have settings to check? Should I wait for my next customer call in Teams ?

I agree - My need is to find a file link in order to share it via email / chat with a colleague. Today, the search function only tells me that the file exists but not where to find it in order to get access to all the file operation the current GUI has (including copy link)

I would broaden the scope - there is the search function on top of the Windows Teams Client - that means for me this search covers ALL CONTENT in teams. But it does not. e.g. I can't find stuff in the Wikis.

Right now, I am trying to figure out where in teams I am to persist knowledge. Obviously I can't use wikis, as they are not covered by the search function and thus are a black hole.

This feature is still under review. The feature team is digging into the details but have not made a decision yet.

File names are usually not very descriptive. We got a repository of PPTs, some of the 400MB in size. How am I to find the rights file if I have no way of describing the file externally? Today, I need to open each file to figure out what it is about. And I can not even persist my finding in a file description or in tags ...

Oh, I just saw how old this FRQ is - so this one is truly dead. That is sad
