Please fix this. Every day I'm typing something and have to pause while notifications pop up.
    It's just horrible!!!

Yes, we need this. The Chat function is good but we need it for Teams, Channels, Calendar etc. I'm constantly having to stop writing a post, to go and get a link or detail from another part of Teams. It takes ages to navigate there and back. We need to be able to clone the current window as we can in other Office products.

Oh come on, this can't be hard!!! Would be so useful! I'm resorting to emails to make sure people notice. Only alternative is typing EVERYONE's name! Ridiculous.

Just happened to me again. We really need this handled better!

Yes please! Myself and colleagues frequently find we've written a message and not pressed enter!
Any other package would prompt you in some way, but in Teams the message can sit forgotten and unfinished for weeks!
Nice that it seems to retain the draft text OK, but frustrating when you find it, or a colleague says "Oh I forgot to press enter!".

Please can we just have all the functionality in private channels as normal ones, they're just not visible to anyone else right?
It should be like a Team you haven't joined yet: you've got the link, but you can only see it if the owner gives you access!
    Makes using private channels infuriating.

Yes, please, we need this to reference teams posts. Don't see why a link shouldn't just block anyone without access, it works for non-members of Team.

Yes please - I need to stop using Outlook Calendar, but it's a tough switch given I can have multiple Outlooks with Mail and Calendar, but in Teams I have to go to the Apps bar.
It's possible for many of the Apps, why not Calendar!!

Please can we get this done? The rapid adoption of Teams created a huge number of under-used Teams that we need to consolidate!

Yes, the sudden upsurge in Teams use created too many under-used Channels and Teams, but they all have a little bit of activity we can't lose. Merging them would be a fantastic facility.

Yes please. But the Chat should be a threaded single post, and the user prompted to supply a clear subject title. All members of the chat would need to be notified and asked to 'Leave' the chat to prevent splitting the discussion!

we have this!  ·  Suphatra responded

Teams is already threaded! Just make sure to use the “Reply” button instead of the bottom compose bar when responding to someone’s previous post. That will thread the conversation.

I disagree that Teams has 'threaded' conversations. It has the ability to reply to the LAST comment on a thread, but not option to reply within a thread, or reference a specific reply. Quoting previous text we can then edit would also help enormously.
This results in a horrible mess and the need to re-start threads.
People often revert to email in frustration to actually have a proper conversation, which kind of destroys the point.
    PLEASE FIX THIS.

Yes please, we really need this. Fighting a losing culture battle against people who simply spam individual channels with messages without a subject.
Maybe if we removed Subject lines from Outlook for a few weeks they would get this?

Yep, just typed out a long task description, went into edit something and managed to delete it. Pretty much any other Office365 product would allow me to recover at that point, so I presume other developers realise people make silly errors. I thought that was the whole point...
