We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

Also - there seems to be some issues with Outlook & Teams integration for meetings. I changed it in TEAMS, but people didn't ********* their Outlook calendars.

Elliot - You can create folders at the top of the "New" dropdown menu. I attached a screenshot for you. Hope that helps!

I think it would be nice if i could add my own shortcuts to Teams, channels, outside links and other places. There is a little room on the top nav, but you could use the Right Nav gray space too.

For instance, if I could have this feature in my own MS Teams screen, I would put links to
    - file locations (different ones for different teams and folders),
    - web links i can create for places in my devops plans (My tasks in Plan A, Current Sprint board in Plan B)
    - Icons for people I chat with frequently
    - Links to other places in Teams (Activity screen filtered to @mentions for me, Planner All plans screen)

I've attached kinda what i was thinking would be ideal.

As a Business Analyst/PM/QA person, this would be extremely beneficial!!

It could take me a few seconds to copy a link into a document for the developer rather than go navigate to it, then try to find the comment I started for them. WAY less confusing if I could just open the file explorer on the side.

we have this!  ·  Warren responded

You can create add a hyperlink to any text, which will allow you to avoid massive links being copied into the chat/channels.
Expand the compose box by clicking the icon “A” with a pencil just below your compose line. Once in the expanded view you can create a link by clicking the icon that looks like a chain at the top of the compose box.

You can also highlight your text and use this function to change your selected text into a hyperlink. Once the hyperlink dialog opens update the link location and modify your text if you so desire.

Ctrl + k has changed my life with links! This quick key allows you to hide the URL's and show whatever text you want to display as the link - WITHOUT having to do a bunch of other clicks to insert a hyperlink. (It works in Outlook, DevOps and all other MS apps too)
