1. Reverse the current "Reply" button, and "Start a conversation" box, for a "Reply" field, and a "Start New Conversation" button

   Yes totally agree. This is a big pain point.. no matter how much you tell people.
   Also, start a new conversation, should have a mandatory subject line - like to have in emails - to give a suiting context to everyone.
