February 2020 'Working on it'... If there's any industry where covid isn't a viable excuse for low productivity it should be IT. Probably better apps out there, but as soon as they start to get somewhere they're bought up by the big league and we get failures like this...

Same problem: set the secondary ring to laptop, but ringtone and notification sounds still only coming through on the headset. And that only when it's switched on, because unlike our regular voip system, the (Plantronics) headset is not automatically switching on as soon as Teams emits a ringtone.
Solution of Jason Brooks below - adjusting the Windows sound settings > app specific > and set output for both Teams instances to Laptop speaker works.Although the incoming sound of a Teams call is then correctly routed via the headset, rather annoying the dialing tone when dialing out is coming over the LT speakers i/o the headset. That doesn't make sense! This is established technology with a multitude of examples of how to do it right. Wake up, Microsoft!

Agree. It helps if you have a customer on the line and you want to quickly see which of your colleagues is available to connect to, or to discuss something...

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

Multi-language spell check is on the backlog.

I read the 'multi-language spell check is on the backlog', but I'd like to point out that's not the whole of what Christian was asking - and I'd like to second that.
I'd like to be able to have an English spell check, but I DON'T want that to also dictate my date and time format. I don't see why those should be linked at all. -

The emoj field isn't totally blank with me. Where my mouse hovers, that emoj is visible.
Apart from the 'choose emoj'-field in messages, the small field for responding to other posts with an emoj has the same issue.
Reinstalling Teams worked - for a while. But the problem returns after a few weeks.
I simplified the suggested solutions and actually just logging off and on again resolves the issue.
