Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.

See documentation for this feature here:
    https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310

Note: We are continuing to work on enabling download after a meeting has concluded, as well. For status updates, check out the roadmap item https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66459.

    Thanks.

Thank you all for your continued feedback on this feature! We are still evaluating options, so for now the ‘Posts’ tab remains the default first tab for every team.

Great suggestions so far in the comments, but please do continue to share how you would use this feature so we can better understand the use case for our planning.

I would think that in most cases, managers would not want to assign a shift to an employee if they are 1)unavailable, 2)already scheduled to be off, or 3)already assigned a shift at that time. At the minimum, a popup message telling me I don't want to assign that shift to them would work. Best case scenario would be blocking me from assigning anything to them when they are unavailable for any of the reasons above. In fact, don't even show that employee as an option when I am assigning a shift. I suppose there might be special use cases where double-booking employees is needed, so perhaps this would be best as a setting option, like "Block assigning shifts to unavailable employees."

Thank you for your feedback! We are hard at work improving the Shifts app experience including adding recurring shifts. In the meantime, we wanted to share some tips and tricks to help with some pain-points mentioned:
    1) Make Edits to Your Schedule (Delete, Undo, Minor Copy Edits): Shifts works similarly to Excel in certain regards, so make sure to highlight shifts with your mouse and utilize keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z) to copy, delete, or undo actions. We find it helpful doing this particularly in month view and week view.
    2) Copy Button: Use the copy button on the top right to copy any timeframe you need for the entire schedule.
    3) Search for Shifts in Creation Phase: When creating a shift, utilize the search command to find shifts that have already been created in the past.

We’ll keep you posted when we have more news!

Why is this still on the backlog if ideas with less than half this many votes are being planned?

Why on the Backlog for the past year? If I have to manually create every single shift for every single day of every single year, I might as well use paper and pencil. Shifts is completely useless to us without this feature. Seems like a no-brainer...

Recurring shifts is an absolute necessity. Otherwise I will be spending more time than I am saving with this app.

In assigning shifts to workers, obviously I need to know who is available for that shift. Is there no way to do this?
