I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

You can read more about Large gallery view, as well as the new Together mode feature, here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/what-s-new-in-microsoft-teams-june-2020/ba-p/1489142.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

Our team is currently using Zoom, but attempting to investigate and migrate to Teams. We recognized this critical issue on a 5 person meeting today. Being able to see the face of all participants is VERY important for reading non-verbal queues as well as to ensure all participants are engaged in the conversation (even if just listening). We won't be able to switch until this is addressed.

This feature is in all the other major video conference products available. Clearly missing from Microsoft teams. This is probably the only feature missing that prevents us from moving from Zoom. Otherwise, great product.
