Multi-window chat is in testing. I hope to have great news regarding rollout to the public rings soon.
We are working to ensure that multi-window and other future multi-window experiences are of the highest quality when they release.
Thanks for the update to say this suggestions is "in testing", @673546846-alex - would be great to see this and other "in development" items on the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap
The team is currently working on this. I will let you know when I have more updates.
Work has been done by the team to add support for partial strings. They are continuing to work on improving the experience.
The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.
Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is now supported. We also have released support for joining meetings from Safari, Firefox and IE browsers, with some limitations. For details, please see the following link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#browsers
This feature is still being reviewed by the feature team. No decision has been made yet. I’ll keep you posted.
Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

Indeed, @676564354-mike-depouw there is another similar idea - I'm voting on both but guess this one will trump as it currently has more votes despite being newer... still no reply from Microsoft 16 months after being posted though. I'm a guest member of several Teams and being able to update my profile in those Teams would be advantageous.
