Thank you for your patience with this ask. This is a feature is available on Teams web client now. We are currently testing the functionality of extending drag and drop support of file attachment directly from Outlook to Teams app. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.

The update above states it works in Teams web client. It does not for me. Does anyone else have it working. I am using the Teams web version and Outlook on desktop. I am using Chrome.
Drag and drop from email to Teams chat and channel chat forum does not work.
