Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.

See documentation for this feature here:
    https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310

Note: We are continuing to work on enabling download after a meeting has concluded, as well.

    Thanks.

I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

For more details, check out the Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=65333.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

I presume when this is REALLY pushed out, it will show up on the following web page: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/What-s-new-in-Microsoft-Teams-d7092a6d-c896-424c-b362-a472d5f105de ... I will stop looking for it until it shows up there. Microsoft refuses to be honest about when this is really being pushed out. So I'm done. We needed this badly. We will see Teams go by the way side soon enough, just like their mobile platform. Then they will tell all of us to jump ship to Google or Zoom... All because they didn't care what was most important to the users, when it was needed the most.

Yup, here we are... May 5th... Still nothing... Who is the supervisor of the Team? And who does the supervisor report to? How do we get things rolling faster? Do you guys need to hire more customer relations people? Or just replace the ones not doing their jobs?

Microsoft needs to specify what version number to look for so we know when we have the feature... Sadly, We're down to just a few more weeks of school, and I doubt we will see this new version before school ends... It will be very difficult to convince the Teachers to continue using Teams ... I personally love Teams, as is. But I am NOT a Teacher... I am a Technology Director. If I had know that the feature to see all Student faces at once was so important to the Teachers, we probably would have went a different direction. Now that they see the other benefits of Teams, they like those feature. However, they are still incredibly disappointed with only 2x2 view... I got asked for a different solutions SO MANY TIMES... But, like an idiot, I had hope that Microsoft would get this rolled out quickly and the Teachers would have the absolute best solution available. I majored in Cyber and Information Security, so that is the stance I took...

If you do not have a version higher than 1.3.00.9267, you probably won't have the option to show more than 4. I have been on version 1.3.00.9267 for over a week, as of 05/01/2020. Also, I think they will update this page once they fully push it out: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/What-s-new-in-Microsoft-Teams-d7092a6d-c896-424c-b362-a472d5f105de

Thank God! ...Thank You for the update! ... One more quick question... What will the version number of Teams be once it receives this update? I need to be able to tell our Teachers.

The limited participants view is COSTING YOU CUSTOMERS!! And not just Teams customers. This is going to cost Microsoft BIG BIG! More and More customers are going to leave and go to Google GSuite JUST because of the lack of attention from Microsoft! The lack of attention to requests from Teams customers is so huge that customers will switch to chrome books just to get the nasty taste of Microsoft out of their mouths. and out of their minds. A site called uservoice where our voices aren't heard at all. How ironic is that.

Microsoft appears to be the king of always leaving out the ONE AND ONLY feature that is so incredibly important that everybody is FORCED to use something ELSE!! All the awesome features in Teams, and you leave THIS ONE out!>>>??? 🙄 ... I've been using Microsoft products since 1996. From 1996 - 2007, I never had a complaint. (I mean, I hated vista and went back to XP LOL)... But from 2007 - 2015, the complaints have grown exponentially ... And since 2015, it seems like NOTHING BUT COMPLAINTS... Our Teachers are revolting and wanting something else because of this ONE FEATURE!! When you guys burn bridges, you really know how to NUKE them!! I'm wondering why I am even typing this post... It's probably too late. If our staff make us move to Google GSuite, we will NEVER be back. And we will have to switch to chrome books and gmail (🤮 ****) ... Maybe it's time for me to get out of this line of work! ...

Timeline??? Our Teachers keep asking... And we don't know what to tell them. All we know is it has been escalated... This is the ONLY thing we need added so our Teachers don't try to use something else. Microsoft is very fortunate Zoom has so many privacy and security holes right now or everyone would have already jumped ship.

All these comments are so true! Microsoft is going to lose a ton of customers to the competitors that already implemented these features? Is Microsoft trying to cause Teams to fail like Windows Phone did?? Come on.

As announced before, 3×3 video has been released to the Public ring on Windows and Mac! Additionally, we are actively working on supporting enhanced video views (up to 7×7) in meetings. The new Large Gallery feature supporting 7×7 will be released with the new pop-out meetings experience, which is beginning roll-out later this month.

Additionally, we are working on including more videos on supported mobile platforms. We will keep you posted!

We need an option added to the drop-down menu for "Who can bypass the lobby?" in meeting options. "NOBODY" or "ONLY ME" needs to be an option. We cannot have Students re-joining a meeting after we kick them out.

Thanks again for your feedback on this. The team has begun working on an option requiring everyone other than the meeting organizer to go thru the lobby. We will continue to evaluate our best option to release with increased priority.

    Thanks!

At the very least, add an option in the Meeting Options that says "NOBODY" can bypass lobby.

We are currently rolling out the increase for the Teams meeting limit. The new permanent meeting limit is 300 participants (in the meeting call and the chat). We expect this to be enabled by the end of June for the public cloud, with government clouds to follow.

For additional info on Meetings limits in Teams, visit: https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#meetings-and-calls

We need a policy that allows us to disable Students ability to Video Chat or Text Chat with each other privately. But still ALLOW Calls and Chats inside Teacher Class Teams. This is HUGE! We are a K-12 School, so this is very needed. This way, Teachers can see all chats and calls going on.
