For what it's worth, the Ismael Martinez maintained version of an Electron wrapped version of Teams for Linux does support hand raising. It has weirdnesses, though (only a single remote location viewed instead of a panel of 4, screen sharing is wonky but works).

On the plus your mouse pointer appears for remote users when screen sharing, the microphone works better in general (better default audio settings) and the audio doesn't develop an application runtime induced lag (over time, you can have multiple seconds long delays in your audio responses with the official MS version

I switch between it and the official MS Teams for Linux depending on what I need to do (because of individual weirdnesses in each).

PS ... wait, it could be the Martinez version with the audio lag, I can't remember. In any case, each version has pros & cons and I switch versions depending on what I need to get done.

The Ismael Martinez version of Teams for Linux (Electron wrapped) does allow sharing your screen with the mouse visible. It has other issues (like viewing only one other Teams participant instead of 4 or now 9) but it is useful for screen sharing.
