ESPECIALLY for users who have the Teams access turned off!
I have users with teams switched to "off"--and STILL when they sign in to portal they get an install file that includes teams and boots up every startup to a program they shouldn't even be able to use per our specifications.
It is absolutely disgusting how little consistency or intelligence comes from such a profitable company. The only thing they're consistent at is providing options to manage their software that don't even work or become overridden, but still left there useless to give the impression that they still work (windows update service settings). Their agenda of pushing their endless list of bells-and-whistles products is always 50x more important than their paying customers' needs and issues being addressed by anything more than a manual, one-at-a-time workaround that comes off as a measly shrug. Downright sickening.

I agree they need to stop this constant garbage of forcing their software into your face against our wishes. Even better there is a toggle to disable teams from
Each portal license and install that does absolutely nothing at this point, but it’s ok because Microsoft needs to leave that useless parameter there so they can have time to develop more garbage to shove down our throats while continuing to ignore what their paying users need fixed.Tyler Vice supported this idea ·
