Does the Planner bot even exist anymore? Its SUPER confusing if it doesn't. And if it does, well, I simply do not have the ability to access this. How do I get notifications in Planner? It can't/shouldn't be this hard.

I don't know how to make this any more clear. Notifications are THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY for Planner. My team and I are avoiding using the app, not because we don't want to, but because no one knows things have changed or have been added to. Comments update the person who created the comment??? REALLY??? Come on, how freakin' useful is that really? I just wrote the comment. I don't need to be notified I just wrote a comment. The person who the task is ACTUALLY assigned to, THEY need to know that a comment was added. But there is absolutely NO WAY to do this.

This functionality is mandatory. It's not even a viable product without it. To be honest, I'm not sure why it's even released without it. We can't use it.

Without notifications or a two way communication flow for the tasks, this is a useless app. It has SO MUCH potential, but it is seriously lacking an absolutely critical component to the app.

I patiently wait for an update.

We use our Group Chat for just common chatting, but frequently want something to be seen by someone who might log on later and won't go back and read things. So being able to tag them so they get an activity notification for that message helps them go DIRECTLY to that message without having to find it.

Currently the only way I can notify everyone on the group chat is to manually tag each person. Which is time consuming and cumbersome.

Being able to just tag the chat would be incredibly helpful.

Also, this feature is repeated here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/926545-teams-for-government/suggestions/41662246-tag-all-in-group-chat

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

It's hard to keep channels neat and tidy. This is just facilitating that ability. It's that simple.

I use chats in my support team. We have a group chat for coordinating shifts, breaks, general questions, and general chatter.

We have a Tier 2 group chat dedicated to investigating issues. However, sometimes, you end up with multiple issues being investigated at the same time and it's hard to keep track of who's talking about what. It would be incredible to have the option to use the same kind of threading as you have in Channels. I would have it turned on for Tier 2 chat, but not for regular chat. That would be ideal.

Honestly, I'm not sure why EVERY list isn't ALWAYS available. If it's in To Do or Planner, it should be in the Tasks by Planner or To Do.

Otherwise it's SOME Tasks by Planner and To Do.

I use Planner to see the high level overview of my team. Delegate tasks and see who's the most over loaded. However, I use To Do to sort through emails and meetings and delegate tasks that way.

i need to be able to see all of them in one place. Having them in Teams means I don't have to have To Do Open OR a tab to the Planner section. I can just go to Teams. I'm usually in Teams anyway, so it totally makes sense.

i've been off work for about 3 months now and i'm waiting for this ONE functionality. Hope you can make it happen sooner than later.

@Scott Spiro said it perfectly. I don't want to have to open To Do JUST so that I can move them to a category so they can be seen in Teams. This is super frustrating.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

We're starting a new org from the ground up. I now have a total of 3 personal emails and 6 shared emails. I would like to be able to log into all three personal accounts and have their information merged. It's stupidly frustrating getting a calendar invite in a secondary profile and NOT having it show up in my primary teams calendar. I need to be able to freely switch back and forth and have all appointments merged on the same teams calendar.

OMG this is SOOOOOO annoying. I'll be writing a message and when i get to the end of the box, someone else messages me, and then a group chat. I have to either wait or close them. And sometimes you close them, just in time for you to put your hands back on the keyboard and ANOTHER one pops up.

INFURIATING while you're trying to work. These NEED to be able to be moved easily.

    Take it one step further,

Currently, when I'm looking at the taskbar, I see the teams logo, MY availability and the current chat I'm viewing.

This is confusing because I use it to give me information. If a notification comes in, it flashes. It should then be able to display the most recent activity notification.

So if I'm looking at Bob's chat, but working somewhere else, and Eric messages me, Eric's name should pop up on the taskbar.

Additionally, I shouldn't see MY availability, I should see the availability of the person who's name you're displaying. (If it's a team or channel, ok not sure how to handle that)

But here's where it's confusing, I just messaged my colleague whom I thought had left the office, so I wasn't expecting a response. But a few minutes later, because I'd just messaged him, I looked and saw the green availability, thinking perhaps that he had seen it was maybe responding during off hours, But when I opened teams, it showed him as still away.

To be able to customize this behaviour would be incredible. Thanks! :)
