We are expanding the limit for Teams meetngs from 300 to 1,000 active participates. Similarly, we are including a view-only experience for up to 20,000 people. For more information on the Advance Comms SKU which will include this experience, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-add-on-licensing/advanced-communications.
Please see the roadmap for more details: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=65952

We have added a lot of new settings changes since the last update. You can see the updated list here https://support.microsoft.com/office/team-owner-member-and-guest-capabilities-in-teams-d03fdf5b-1a6e-48e4-8e07-b13e1350ec7b.
We would like your feedback on any gaps or additional settings that you feel are missing. Please let us know, the team would love to hear from you!

Team Owners have too much power for governance comfort. There is a reason why Microsoft broke out permissions into different levels and Teams is no different.

The ability to classify documents out the gate is a big win for teams with lots of files that don't want to classify using folders
We have org-wide manager meetings, this would be very important part. Live meetings won't cut it because of the extreme delay in broadcasting.
