Agreed, this democratic system leaves it up to users to decide what should be fixed. Clearly there are competing priorities, Program managers aren't smart enough to know what they should prioritize on their own. Any company that uses a system like this is doing it WRONG.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. This item has been declined. There will be no work to hide or remove the reply button.

As many people have commented, a big ask is to help improve how people distinguish between giving a reply and starting a new message.
For that the focus will be on this item. “Better visual delineation between `Reply` and `Start a new conversation`”

Tone deaf development team. You can't force adoption of a poor product. We will never adopt teams and are actually looking at switching to Google Apps entirely for all of our work place needs.

Who's the community manager? They are not doing a good job of keeping these up to date. Which is turn, proves this entire system is useless and a waste of time. Either provide timely updates or don't even bother. It's like one foot in, one foot out. Majorly disappointing.

The feature team is still reviewing, there is lots of discussion about this item and I hope to have a decision soon.

Let's just get rid of outlook and only use teams for everything! *Sarcasm*
