    This item is still under review. I’ll keep following up with the feature team.

    This is the main thing I miss from Slack. Add this and you'll have feature parity!

    It would be great if the display was just the first few characters, and ellipse, and then the last few characters - with a hover of showing the full url. e.g. microsoft.com/docs/...awesome.aspx

    I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.

    Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.

    Hope that helps! :-)

    Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

    Thank you for your continued feedback! We are happy to share that we have rolled out 800+ emojis to our Desktop and Web platforms, with Mobile rolling out in the coming months. This update includes 6 skin tone options, different genders for applicable emojis, and emojis featuring people with disabilities. Please note that you can also add native OS emojis using “Win + .” shortcut in Windows and “Cmd + Ctrl + Space” in MacOS.

    Today, you can add a custom meme with your own caption in the Sticker/Memes feature. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/send-an-emoji-gif-or-sticker-in-teams-174248c9-e64d-4de1-9f41-3199cc0751ad.

    The "open application in background" setting does not load it to the system tray only. It still loads as a window. The startup script is:

    C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\Update.exe --processStart "Teams.exe" --process-start-args "--system-initiated"

    Could it be that it starts with Update.exe? I've tried to change it to current/teams.exe and current/squirrel.exe to no effect.

    Also, I noticed that the settings.json file does not allow "true" in disableBackgrounding. I changed it manually, opened teams and it changed it back to false. Event when I change the textbox.
    C:\Users\*****AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\settings.json

    desktop-config.json is set to:
    "appPreferenceSettings": {
    "openAsHidden": true,
    "openAtLogin": true,
    "registerAsIMProvider": true,
    "runningOnClose": true
    },

    per https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/Minimize-to-system-tray/m-p/320133/highlight/true#M24014

    Otherwise, great program. This is a minor bug if you ask me. People complaining about conference room screens showing information seem to forget to boot their machines before going to a meeting.
