We’re pleased to confirm the Teams client for Linux will be available in preview by the end of this calendar year, enabling people who use Linux client at work or in educational institutions to collaborate with others on Teams. Users will be able to install native Linux packages in .deb and .rpm formats.

    Thanks!

I would love to be added to insider program and test it for you! My company has completely swapped to Teams and I'm a Linux user who is struggling with it and they want to move me to Windows which will cause me a whole heap of pain if just for this one application.

This feature request has now moved to “working on it”. The team is actively working on this request and I will share more details as they become available.

Where are we with Teams search please? It is REALLY bad!! And I "ditto" all of the op's points. I'm surprised Microsoft got away with releasing Teams with such a bad history and search function!!
