if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

The TRY THIS INSTEAD is absolutly useless. Sometimes, when I read the Admins replys, I assume they don't use Teams themselves.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.
You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

We are happy to announce that we now have support for posting Adaptive Cards via Incoming Webhooks in developer preview!
You can try it out with any of your favorite HTTP request composer tools (PowerShell/Postman/Fiddler) using Message Activity format with https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/platform/task-modules-and-cards/cards/cards-reference#adaptive-card attachment.
Please keep providing feedback on other features you’d like to see. We will post further updates as we have them.

The adaptivecard-designer doesn't even support the messagecard-format (anymore?). This is so inconvienient.

Yeah, this topic needs a lot more improvement. Conversation within a task/ticket should generate a conversation within a Teams-channel, like conversations about files.
Teams should reduce e-mail-clutter, but Planner sabotages that.

This is currently in internal testing rings at Microsoft, and the feature team is targeting a release to the public in early Q2.
Stay tuned!

The team has not made a decision on whether to move forward with this feature. We will update when we have new status to share.

I disagree on this. Chatting works differently in "Chat" and "Teams". In "Chat" you have something like WhatsApp, which is easily described to non-techy-colleagues. In "Teams" you need to have a bit more discipline to hit "Reply" and get used to the thread-based "chatting".
Keeping that separated makes it lot easier to train colleagues.

We are currently testing the new Tasks app internally. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.

We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!

It's really frustrating that we are promised an ETA "after the holidays" and almost 8 months later, still no update on this.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thanks!

Cross-Posting is NOT a solution! Do you even use Teams yourself?
