I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.

Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.

    Hope that helps! :-)

I second most comments on this thread. Hiding does not solve the problem as whenever you restart a conversation with the same person the whole history is displayed. Sometimes we wear different clothes for different audiences and having one's underwear on public display is more than just a nuisance. Suggesting this is a legal requirement is simply smoke and mirrors. Simply archive once the conversation has ended.
I have to say I dislike Teams. Oh to go back to something like Skype that doesn't try to be everything to everyone and end up as nothing to no-one.

Hey everyone! We have this already. Just click the ellipses next to the thread name and select “Hide”.

Note that we cannot provide a “hard delete” due to eDiscovery and other legal reasons.

    Thanks,
