This sounds interesting and I will upvote it. Note that the Files (ctrl-8) also has a recent view, which you can order by location. This is pretty close to what I need. Alternatively the search option with Ctrl-E followed by /files allows for quick search. Would be good with search options other than filename though. But yes, shortcuts will be faster...

While waiting for this, an export option is maybe easier to do? Would be useful anyway, and then we can search in the exported file. Not the real solution, but I would use it instead of not having a solution at all so far. Hope we get it soon.

Not usable if the context is not shown. Scrolling up is painfully slow too, so that is not an option unless you need to find "business critical" information. Then you scroll and hope you don't get interrupted by a new chat message, or need to go to another tab in teams, because then you can start over again.

Would be great to have the files tab be the first one that appears when selecting the channel. Of course everybody will have their own preference here, but maybe a "memory" function could additionally alleviate some frustration, i.e. remember the last tab that was active.
Additionally if performance was better it would probably be less frustrating. Teams in general is pretty slow to load.

Nope, this doesn't work. Conversations and Files are always the first tabs...

When moving to chat for fast information exchange instead of "legacy email" one would expect at the very least the same responsiveness and search options. However this is not the case.
Cannot scroll back in a fast manner, and search is also slow. (I know there is a Ctrl-f function coming soon to search in current chat, but cannot judge how slow or fast that is yet).
So responsive scrolling and efficient search would be great!

When I make a test call the teams volume is set to maximum volume (jabra evolve 65 UC headset). This means I have to set the master volume to 18% so I don't blow my eardrums out. Sideeffect is that all other applications have low volume. Could be a microsoft bug or jabra bug?
