We are working on the release of the Tasks application in Microsoft Teams that will aggregate data from Microsoft To-Do, Planner and Outlook with more capabilities on the way. You can see Planner data in Kanban views today, and the Tasks app will continue to support that view. That MS To Do would be become an integration point between Tasks created in Planner within Teams and Tasks in Outlook.
Currently both systems work very independently and it can be frustrating to use both in separate spaces.
A fix for this is being worked on. We hope to have a fix in internal Microsoft rings soon for testing. I don’t have a timeline for release externally at this point, but will keep you posted.
Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is now supported. We also have released support for joining meetings from Safari, Firefox and IE browsers, with some limitations. Improvements to day/work week/week view are in the public ring. Our focus now is a new scheduling experience and scheduling assistant, appointments and more.

This is working today in the web client on Edge & Chrome. The team is actively investigating feasibility in the desktop client.
Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
