I have had an open support ticket running for the last several weeks, waiting for troubleshooting/callbacks from the Microsoft tech, having to reschedule because the tech gets stuck on other calls and never follows up with me, just feeling like I'm being led along to a point where this would ultimately be fixed, only to find out this is a function "IN PRODUCTION", but then being told that this is "not added yet/not yet been tested to work". Why has this feature been in available to be configured since July, Microsoft has published KBs on how to configure it properly with correct external number formatting, but the feature is "not added yet/not yet been tested to work"? I spent hours and days and weeks trying to work with the Microsoft tech who just let me know that there is no resolution to this, and now my customer who has been patiently testing with me thinking this would eventually be resolved has to be told it's not going to work because Microsoft is putting features in production that don't work. I've been happy with how Microsoft has developed/improved Teams over the last year, but this situation has been very frustrating.

Thanks for your feedback. The transfer to voicemail option is currently in testing and will be released soon.
Note: Direct calls to a users voicemail is a separate feature which is planned. We’ll update when we have more details to share on this one.
Thanks.

For organizations that need call recording for compliance purposes, admins can set via policy. To see how this works for calling and meetings, please see https://docs.microsoft.com/MicrosoftTeams/teams-recording-policy.
1:1 convenience recording is currently on the teams backlog. We will share an updated here as soon as it is available.

I just received a complaint about this yesterday. Why would there be no hold music for call-queue calls placed on hold?

Thank you for your feedback, the team has this request under review. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
In the meantime, you may want to try using the “Do No Disturb” status if you are in a call or meeting, and do not want to get call notifications (rings and toasts). For more information on the various status settings in Teams and how they effect your notifications, including call notifications, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-your-status-in-teams-ce36ed14-6bc9-4775-a33e-6629ba4ff78e.

I had a 6 week old escalated ticket - was told this is working 'as designed'. I don't see how Microsoft doesn't see this as an issue.

Yes, being in a call center with several call queues and having JUST cutover yesterday, we are finding this to be extremely frustrating.
As we deploy Microsoft Teams Phones to additional clients, more people are asking for better incoming caller ID functionality. Phone numbers are OK, but businesses require additional info.
