Would be so great if we could give non-team members access to a specific channel. Right now we're opening in SharePoint and adding access to the folder, but you can't tell from within Teams that there is special permission. Please add this.
This feature request is still in the works. I hope to have more updates soon. I’ll keep you posted.
There are legitimate reasons for wanting to sort by a column other than Modified descending. Please add the ability to have the user's desired sort selection stick, or have the view within Teams match the default view configured in the SharePoint site. This is preventing us from moving files from SharePoint on-prem to Teams.
This item is still being reviewed and pending a decision. No new details at this time.
I work in IT and have been asked by several different people if it's possible to have Channel Notifications turned on by default. Team members don't know when a new channel that they may want to follow is added unless the creator @mentions the team. Would be much more user friendly if notifications were on by default, or if when creating a Channel there was an option to turn on notifications for all members, and users could turn off it they don't want to get them. Please implement this.
This feature request is still working its way through the backlog queue.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
I would be interested in testing. I work in Education, have about 3500 employees and 50,00 students. We are located in WI - USA
