This is definitely our experience and we regret very much closing a thread which had a considerable bow wave of relevant comments to this

We suspect this is due to high memory and bandwidth use but we cannot rely on Teams with external users and and now use Zoom externally - we revert to Zoom if Teams fails which is frequent - please resolve this

Thank you for your recent votes on the individual performance items. High memory and RAM usage is something we are continuously working to improve, and the team is hard at work on fixes.
If interested, you can find more details on how Teams currently uses Memory at https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/teams-memory-usage-perf.

We consistently find that Teams uses huge amount of memory slowing computers (Apple & PC) - we are using Zoom now for external calls and internal calls as a backup - we are considering going to Zoom if this continues sadly

Teams uses so much local power - we are using Zoom instead which seems a shame!

We regularly have unreliable connections then revert to Zoom which is fine - we are considering moving wholly to Zoom

Thank you for the feedback. Changing the default setting is under review by the feature team, and your feedback is very useful as they are evaluating.

"I agree COMPLETELY. This same request has been requested in other UserVoice threads. Is there any reason not to allow administrators to make sure users get notified? (1) Notifications should be ON by default. (2) Administrators should be able to turn on notifications for all users for each channel."

Totally agree - we have meetings with Spanish and English participants and would appreciate this for both languages - at the same time

Alex
We operate a two language staff meeting (Spanish & English) - we would love to see text of each language translated live as conversations occur in Teams meetings - this may be a stretch to far but if there is any way for this to be done pease advise me. Thank you
