Thank you all very much for the great response. The survey is now closed. The feature team will be reviewing all the data that was gathered and responded based on the findings.
Again, thank you for helping us make Microsoft Teams the best it can be.

I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

You can read more about Large gallery view, as well as the new Together mode feature, here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/what-s-new-in-microsoft-teams-june-2020/ba-p/1489142.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

    For…

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

This is still under review, no decision has been made. But I will keep following up with the feature team and providing them your feedback.

We need to have this feature enabled. For high priority Channels/Teams, having the option to configure this as an option when creating a Team/Channel allows the creator to know that people will see the messages. The user should have the option to turn it off, but it is too easy to miss a conversation when a notification does not pop. I'd rather turn it off when I realize I do not need to be notified.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

This is a needed feature. There are many cases where users enter messages on the general channel when it really needs to be in another channel.

Skype for Business has this feature when I group my contacts. I'd like to see a list of user's and their Status that have favorited a Channel. This will let me know if they are available or have updated a status to say what location they are at.
