Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to share that users who write different messages in different languages, will now see spellchecking relevant to the language they are actively using when typing a message while using the Microsoft Teams Desktop App on Windows.
Please see details here – https://support.microsoft.com/office/check-your-spelling-in-multiple-languages-0e269374-0cac-4a22-a377-53f01e05a6d4

So, today, I am offered the option to always sign in to Teams with a Status of Do Not Disturb!
Was it too hard to offer all status categories as a default sign in LIKE SKYPE DID?
Seriously, this is worse than no status at all.Refer to the the code for Skype for Business and make it work in Teams.
Upon sign in in Skype, one sees the complete drop down list under the box that says:
Sign in as:
Available
Busy
Do Not Disturb
Be Right Back
Appear Away
Off WorkAn error occurred while saving the comment Martin Shepherd commented
The Teams Status indicator must be fixed.
1. A user should have the option to set a status as Away, Busy, Be Right Back, etc.
2. A user should be able to set a time before the status changes to Away due to inactivity. For example, 5 minute increments up to 30 minutes.
3a. When a user logs back in, Teams should show any current status if other than Available and ask if the user wants to update that status OR
3b. Automatically update the user status to Available when the user logs back in or starts a new session.Making it work like Skype For Business would be better than nothing.

We are working on a design with more density in mind. Until this design is solidified we are putting this item back to Under Review.

Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thanks!

The option to “discard” suggested contacts in your chat list is rolling out to users. We will be making further changes to make suggested contacts more relevant for new users in the future as well, so marking as partially completed. Thanks for your patience with this one.

I'd like to suggest that the TEAMS Spell Check take on attributes more like (or just like) those found in other Microsoft products. In that
1. TEAMS uses both the standard dictionary as well as the user-defined dictionary
2. TEAMS allows a word to be added to a dictionary (and shared with the user-defined dictionary, thereafter), and
3. TEAMS provides options for proofing, spelling, and grammar like found in MS Word.
Consistency among the MS apps is a helpful thing.
