    Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.

    As mentioned in the prior status, the channel limit was raised from 100 to 200.

    In the near future a retention limit will be set so you can still go back and reinstate a channel you had deleted. Once the retention period has expired then the channel will get a hard delete which will free up the space and no longer count toward the 200 channel limit.

    This will help with some of the issues you have voiced in the comments below.
    But I understand many of you wish the limit to be further increased. I will continue to provide your votes and comments to the feature team.

    We have a requirement to be able to keep messages in chronological order for important business processes like incident and release management. To bypass the native "thread jumping" behavior that exists in MS Teams, we're implementing channels with moderator settings turned on so these types of conversations are required to take place in a single thread instead of both in threads and with new top-level posts from all members.

    So, our threads will get long. One side effect of this model we discovered today while testing, is that there is not currently a way to fully expand a long thread. It's very common for outside parties to join a threaded conversation hours and sometimes even days after it's begun. In order for them to read/skim through the thread, the MS Teams desktop client forces them to click a "show more" link many times. This user experience would be greatly improved by an "expand all" button.

    Further, in the course of an incident or a software release, it's also very common for people to have to leave the thread to answer questions from their boss or direct messages from a teammate. I will give you bonus points if you preserve the channel state for the user such that the focus of the channel, thread, group chat, whatever is in the same place as it was previously. You'll get double bonus points if you turn these into user preference settings instead of global changes.

    This happened to me recently. Messages should be synchronous across every logged in device. It took a full day for messages to appear on my mobile client.

    Does anybody know why this is not tagged as and logged under "Bugs"? This is an ongoing problem within our organization and makes it nearly impossible to find something that happened many days or weeks in the past. Since the search is under-powered, many people rely on scrolling back through the channel as a first attempt at finding what they need.

    Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
