This item remains on the backlog.
This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.
Multi-window chat is in testing. I hope to have great news regarding rollout to the public rings soon.
We are working to ensure that multi-window and other future multi-window experiences are of the highest quality when they release.
We are continuing to work on this feature. As with Windows notifications, we are also doing work to give users the choice between Teams notifications & Mac notifications.
We will update you as work progresses.
Definitely needed on the Mac OS side. Please provide update on how this is proceeding. I thought about this yesterday. Not only do I miss notifications while on the Mac, but during Teams Meetings while screen sharing, unrelated messages pop up from Mac OS's built in notifications because the Mac doesn't know that there's a presentation in progress. Once this integration is completed, I expect this to get a lot better.

This is in the works, please see our announcement post from Ignite!
Being able to easily save important chats and conversations, files etc. into To-Do is also important.
Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook
See this post for more information:
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
The feature team is hard at work on this feature. We will share more news as we get closer to release.
Just ran across this issue today. Was in a meeting, hit up the wiki in a Team channel and realized I could do nothing on my iPad. Didn’t bring my Mac or Surface Pro so I’m in a tough spot.
The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.
