Yes, slash commands are available, but from the search bar. Having to mouse up to the search bar is unnecessary. I realize Teams isn't Slack or Discord, but come on... Give me efficiency! I'm always positioned in the composition pane, so why not allow me to simply /search <string> or /dnd 1 hour where I already am, rather than mouse up to the search bar and then /dnd. This is 2020, let's get with the times!

The iOS app allows you to choose from different notification sounds for chat. The desktop app allows you to choose from different ringtones for calls. Why, in 2020, are we forced to a singular, non-customizable notification sound for chat? We should not only be able to choose from options, but to set a different notification for DM and Teams chats. This is absolutely unacceptable.

We're in the midst of SfB to Teams migration and there's a HUGE reduction in functionality of our busy lights on Teams. Call indicator doesn't work as it did for SfB making the busy lights more or less useless now since their sole functionality is to let teammates know your status.

For Teams to be on such a fast trajectory to the only solution, it is unacceptable that we still don't have an API.

we have this!  ·  Suphatra responded

It looks like some people in the thread below have figured it out — we actually have this. You can start a chat both ways; the system will automatically recognize if this person is on Skype for Business or on Teams.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

This does not work as intended. Even if a user is in Skype for Business only, and I IM them from Teams, it goes nowhere, or they get an email that I'm trying to reach them in Teams.

We really MUST have this in order to start a rollout.
