There are quite a few requests for Outlook integration within Teams. I am particularly interested being able to view and respond to email from within the Teams Client (web and desktop).

I am constantly being asked about how to send things (without having to copy and paste a link) and get to emails. When I tell users, they have to switch applications, I always get that sigh of disappointment that Teams is somewhat lacking. If Microsoft want Teams to become a central hub for working, Outlook has to be integrated into the client. At the moment too many people do not open Teams until they are about to actually do work there and they are still doing most of their work in Outlook. This means that they miss alerts until it is too late. Accepting the ubiquity of email and embracing it is the best way to increase user adoption.

See this thread in the Microsoft Teams section in Microsoft Tech Community: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/outlook-client-integration-teams/m-p/26777/highlight/false

I have had very similar problems with morphing members and owners added through the Microsoft Teams Admin center. Users show as being owners in the Admin center, but this does not match what is displayed in the Teams client (desktop and web). Owners are also being removed completely and (as described above) random members show up as owners is the Teams client.
I checked in the associated SharePoint site and the member/owner assignments are different again. In the AD Azure Groups, the member/owner assignments seem to be the same as in SharePoint.
I am guessing this mismatching has to do with synchronization issues between the different group memberships sources, but it is not at all clear which is the defining place to make these changes and it makes it very frustrating and unreliable trying to manage membership and ownership.
Could I therefor also make a request that this is looked at urgently. Thank you.

Hello. I work in education and it would be very useful to allow ownership and membership to teachers or a Teams and visitors to students. Thank you.

I work in Education. We would really like to be able to set up a Teams with an owner and members, who are teachers ,and visitors, who are students. Visitors could view the content but not make any changes or modifications. This would be very useful.

I have just experienced this exact same frustrating problem. I was wondering why a Teams I created yesterday was not being found. Of course I was searching for the second word in the title and the search in the Teams admin console only does 'starts with' searches. Please do better filtering, sorting and searching for admins. Thank you.

Unfortunately I need to switch this back to Under Review. The feature team is investigating how best this could be implemented.

We have teachers using Sway and moving to Teams. It would be great if there was a implementation in Teams for this product.

Still under review by the feature team. Nothing new to report at this time.

I would also like to see this functionality. I have a cluster of Teams set up for our IT team (projects, network, HR/admin, printing, etc) and it would be great to be able to link or cluster these so that it is clear that there is a relationship between them. I am going to make the central SharePoint site behind the Teams a Hub Site with the others as satellites, but it would be great to have similar functionality for Teams.

It is vital that admins can set the locale, language, region and/or date format. We work in the UK and it is causing real confusion that the date is US based.
Could this be made configurable in the Teams admin console?
For me, the Language is set to UK English but all the dates associated with files are US dates. Clearly the language setting is not filtering through to a corresponding date display and this seems to be the same for other users. Thank you.

I agree that this should be something that should be configurable for all Teams in the Teams admin console. I spent half a morning looking for this. At the moment, even though the Language is set to UK, the dates associated with files are all US dates. Clearly the language setting is not filtering through to a corresponding date display. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Thank you.
