Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.

If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

Seems to still be an issue. I had my OOF on for a while and now that it's turned off, days later Teams still shows me out of the office and it won't update. Turned OOF on/off again, nothing. Tried changing status in Teams to available, tried Reset Status, no change, stuck OOF.

Sent logs in to the teamsml@ address.

Thank you for your continued feedback! We are happy to share that we have rolled out 800+ emojis to our Desktop and Web platforms, with Mobile rolling out in the coming months. This update includes 6 skin tone options, different genders for applicable emojis, and emojis featuring people with disabilities. Please note that you can also add native OS emojis using “Win + .” shortcut in Windows and “Cmd + Ctrl + Space” in MacOS.

Today, you can add a custom meme with your own caption in the Sticker/Memes feature. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/send-an-emoji-gif-or-sticker-in-teams-174248c9-e64d-4de1-9f41-3199cc0751ad.

The image compression in Teams is a big problem. It appears to be VERY high compression as the quality of images put into Teams is absolutely horrible. Feels like we're back in 2005. This really needs to be fixed, or an option available to change the quality. We're paying for the disk space, let us use it how we please.
