You should be able to task/follow-up message with in team's chat/channels/meetings as well. A lot of associates complain that they forget to follow-up because they don't have that option like they do in Outlook so they're still resisting communicating via teams. Also have the option to set a reminder to follow-up or complete a message like in Outlook.

Basically have these options available for messages/posts within teams:

This should be the same functionality with what we see with Microsoft Outlook. In Outlook you can right-click and email to assign follow-up by priority (today, tomorrow, this week, next week, custom), which then in turn puts it to your task log. Also have the option to set a reminder notification for that message. Make sure to have this option in Teams/Chat/Meetings

Thank you for your patience with this ask. This is a feature is available on Teams web client now. We are currently testing the functionality of extending drag and drop support of file attachment directly from Outlook to Teams app. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

The team has delivered improvements to the New Meeting experience in Calendar such as optional attendees, richer custom recurrence UX, as well as enhanced meeting RSVPs.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

Thank you for your continued feedback. We are in the process of testing the downloading of the attendance report after the meeting has concluded. For status updates, please view the roadmap item here, https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66459.

Download of the meeting attendance list during a meeting is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy. To learn more, please visit our support page at https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310.

I host a lot of webinar trainings for associates and track attendance. Currently I have to ask participants to put their first and last name in the chat box to log attendance. It would be nice if teams could automatically track that and even give us the option to export to excel.
