    This feature was teased when the original Spotlight feature was announced (as a caveat that spotlight would not be reflected in recordings but with a statement that went something like 'but keep an eye out as Microsoft continues to improve'). It has been several months since the launch of Spotlight, and this is s sorely needed feature for many reasons. Please expedite this. Thank you.

    This is really needed. We have some multi-channel teams that would benefit greatly from PowerAutomate automation being able to post to a channel targeted a specific tag so that those users get explicitly notified. I was surprised that I could @ a specific user in PowerAutomate, but I could not @ a tag. This would enhanced functionality greatly. I was just looking on the roadmap and did not see anything addressing this issue. Please add this to the roadmap.

    I agree. You can currently 'private chat' with someone in the same tenant by going to the main Teams client during a meeting, but that is not available for other participants, so we need the ability to private chat with external meeting participants and the added convenience of accessing private chat for all participants in the meeting (including those in the tenant) right from the meeting chat interface.

    This would have come in incredibly handy in a meeting I had last week which was a brainstorming session. While presenting on another screen, I used the participants list to monitor hand raises to call on those that wanted to express ideas. It would have been great if I could have monitored the meeting chat at the same time without gymnastics.

    I just hosted a brainstorming session the other day and this would have been great. I used the participants list to view hand raises and call on the next person to share their idea. It would have been great to have had the chat right there too (I was already using the other screen to share my screen, so had limited screen realestate to have the separate teams window up and noticeable at the same time as the meeting, so having the ability to have two info panes (chat and participants) visible at the same time would be ideal.

    This is already available. Hover over the message/comment and in the same rows as the emoji's on the far right are 3 dots (ellipses), click on that, and you will get teh 'edit' option.

    You can already do this, I do it all the time. Join with your phone's Teams. Then I get on my computer and start to join, in the lower left of the join screen as an option to join without Audio (clicking that joins you instead of using the 'join' button. Back in the app, I believe you can turn the video feed off, but I always just leave it on.
