Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.

If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

It's July 2020 and have not stopped using my PC for 2 straight hours and my Team status shows "Away." This is still not fixed. I also see users as "Offline" yet can chat with them on their PC so they clearly are not Offline.

I am using Teams Business Voice to replace my old Cisco desktop phone. When I had that, when people called it and I'm away from my desk, it goes to voicemail (or had the option to forward if need be). Great.

With Teams, when I'm in my car, my Bluetooth turns on and I can't really tell if it's a Teams call or regular call. I do NOT want my "office line" to ring on my cellphone, ever (if someone needs me on my cell they call my cell as that is not listed in our corporate directory).

I only use the mobile app for chats and channels and meetings. Calls are for the Desktop app. If I'm not at my desk or my laptop is off, it means I'm not available and should go to voicemail.

We cannot implement Teams Business Voice without this and will have to keep our Cisco server. We cannot have everyone manually managing a local Outlook contact list for our employees.

When I'm in Teams > Calls > Contacts it lists all of my Outlook clients by default. My issue is I don't want it to do this as this then requires ALL of our Employees to keep separate contacts lists (which is fine for external contacts).

What I don't understand is why it doesn't list our GAL/)365 contacts at all (nor their numbers).
