Why can I thumbs up but not down? Seems like a very purposeful choice there.

I've ended up screenshotting the thumbs up when composing a message, turning it upside down, and uploading as image to get around this - but it's far from ideal...

This item is not currently under consideration, though multi-window is the works.

Please keep the feedback coming and I will keep bringing it to the feature team for review.

    Thank you!

I don't know if there's a more popular version of this request but I remember brilliantly Win+Q bringing up skype, which then was daftly changed to Ctrl+Alt+Shift+3, and now there's nothing except for the hack to put it ant point n on the taskbar and use Win+n.

Thank you for your continued feedback. We have a feature on the backlog for popping out content, so that you can see one screen with the video gallery and one screen with the shared content. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

For the separate feature ask for full screen option, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/41277121.

For split screen camera and desktop, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/37118773.

For full screen for self video, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/38322247.

I know that you can share desktop/programme and have teams open on a second screen, but I wish it wouldn't minimise automatically each time - the number of people I've had to walk through this process means that it is broken.

Also, completely agree with OP - sharing a teams file whilst on VC is a pain. Video needs to break out on demand to allow you to either show a file, or work on something within teams whilst having a VC open. As much I like the principal that you're concentrating on the session, quite often you need to access teams or just do your own work when you're on a VC.

you can sort of get round this by putting a > at the start of a message, pasting the previous messages content, then hitting shift+enter to go to the next line twice to start your response. Daft workaround, there are paid-for tools that achieve this but it's a super basic thing that's clearly missing.

I've just tried to add a channel to a session and accidentally invited a number of high level execs in the company who weren't too happy about this. I had no idea this would invite the whole team to the meeting, and it really shouldn't. This seems to be a case of 'we know better how you work' from MS, rather than giving us the flexibility to cater this to us (much like Planner's spamming of mail out to people on task updates).

This request is still in the backlog, no new details are available at this time.

I’ll continue to watch for new information from the feature team to share with you.

I think MS pretty much killed any hope of this being a real thing with the poorly thought out introduction of Project 1.

In doing so it alienated the entire company from both Planner and Project, such a shame.

This is SUPER bad with new Edge, which will not allow you to automatically open links and will confirm EVERY time you open a sharepoint link in a desktop app.

Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

I’ve just tried on boarding a colleague who is keen to use this and this was the first hurdle that instantly put me on the back foot. Sadly teams seems to not quite fit the use of multiple teams (one for each project) or multiple channels (one for each project with a single team)
