This would be a great feature! Seems there is currently a Presence/Status based option for users to start/stop receiving Calls, seems maybe just Shifts driving the proper Presence/Status for a user may suffice. IE Punch In/ on Shift Status=Available, Punch Out /off shift=Offline or DND. Punch Break = Away.

We also require a more efficient (less overhead, Matt E) Incoming Call method (vs AA method) during business hours. Seems we have no way to have main phone number on a Call Queue and manage business hours. I'm fine with AA after hours, but we have 2 main operators during business hours, no need to subject customers to additional wait time while AA's forwarding/etc. AA's after hours is fine.
If anyone has a work around, please share. -

I see the Walkie Talkie feature is in Teams Preview. Please tell me MS is planning on adding the PTT screen button in the Teams version that is running on Teams certified Phones (Yealink T56A, T58A) for Business Voice. These phones are running Android, not SIP version with Linux?? Currently a huge hole in Business Voice with no Paging feature/options.
This Walkie Talkie feature may be a replacement if on Teams desk phones.

Thank you for your feedback. This feature is still on the backlog, and planned for later this year.
In the meantime, you can try using the keyboard shortcut to toggle mute (Ctrl+Shift+M). For more info on keyboard shortcuts, visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/keyboard-shortcuts-for-microsoft-teams-2e8e2a70-e8d8-4a19-949b-4c36dd5292d2.

Maybe if I state the obvious;)
Yes, please just add the exact same Punch In/Out method used in the Teams Android/Apple apps for Punch In/Out to the Teams for Windows app. Windows version of Teams already has the Shifts area, but no Time Clock Punch In/Out. You've already built it, please add similar code to the Teams for Windows app.
MS, please pay attention to this critical issue. This "5-7 second answering delay" is described on many other UserVoice questions/topics.
