The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

I don't get it, how is this not something they thought of. So many simple things wrong with stopping Teams from actually being a good product. I get Skype is limited to just being a chat based application, but it is brilliant at being that. Teams wants to be every thing and fails at all of them.
Like what idiot put the suggested contact in teams with no way to disable it and what idiot approved it for production.
Teams wants to be like #slack, but you can't even be like #SfB
The option to “discard” suggested contacts in your chat list is rolling out to users. We will be making further changes to make suggested contacts more relevant for new users in the future as well, so marking as partially completed. Thanks for your patience with this one.
