If I could vote for this 5000 times, I would.
It gets really frustrating when trying to view shared screens, along with video and chat at the same time. Trying to read details off someone else's screen can become almost impossible. Webex is getting a lot of buy-in in my organisation because it can pop-up all windows separately.
This would have to be the MOST CRITICAL feature to include if Teams is to take over as a real collaboration / virtual meeting platform.
This could potentially become a deal breaker for some.
Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.
This feature continues to be in the backlog, we will update when we have more details to share.
Thank you for your continued feedback. The feature team is actively working on this highly requested feature. We are testing the first release that will have the ability for meeting hosts to create breakout rooms, assign the users to the rooms and call them back to the main room. Please see our roadmap for current status here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=65332.
Thank you for your votes and comments on this feature. The team is in the process of finalizing designs for deleting private chat threads. I will update as we have more progress to share.
We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!
We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.
