Please add to the comments if you are experiencing this. I would like to know the OS and device you are using as well.

I’ll bring this feedback to the feature team and help get this investigated.

I've experienced an issue in Mac OS and iOS native apps where notifications do not happen even when the settings are selected.

Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

Yes, we would like to switch from Slack, but we can't until the notifications are improved. We have users on both Mac and PC. When we tried switching, we frequently missed messages. We would like to be strongly notified if someone sends a direct message to us or mentions us in a channel/team, and we would like to be weakly notified if someone has a conversation in a team/channel but doesn't mention us directly.

we have this!  ·  Warren responded

Teams does have some shortcuts you may use.

To see the shortcut list you can click on your user icon within Teams.
From the drop down list go to Keyboard Shortcuts.
A second window will open showing you the available shortcuts that Teams has to offer at this time.

    Keep posting feedback.
