Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

Truly this must be very simple to do for Microsoft but they dont really care about #uservoice. All Microsoft care about is $$$$ which is shameful.
This Idea was posted 1.5 year ago, yet 11 months later placed to the backlog previously being lied to public they are "planning" this feature. Now since December on the backlog. @Alex being completly honest you should loose your job as you dont deliver "experiance" to the users who voice does matter!

it wont be introduces anytime soon as Microsoft don't care what business want. Knobs sits there in the design and development teams so they wont release it as they dont care about your commments at all. That is why they lost with SLACK over IBM contract for 350k users and thats why this product is just ****.

Any update on this future? this stops majority of the business from rolling this out. Not everyone need a office365 license in hospitality for example but shifts schedule and communication tool like Teams is more then needed.

The ability to turn off emojis is still being worked upon.

Also, there is work to create a compact mode which will also help reduce white space… which in turn will impact some of the complaints are far as wasted space from the emojis as well, that have been voiced in the comments.

    Stay tuned for more details.
