    I understand files in Teams are actually stored in a Team specific Sharepoint "Site", and all files in a Sharepoint site have the same permissions as it's defined at the site level, not at the file level. So let's not ask for a too massive change ;)

    One thing that would be VERY useful and relatively easy to do IMHO, is to simply have to ability to indicate a team member is a Visitor (read-only), as opposed to only be a "Member" (read-write-delete) or an "Owner"(full admin rights). The change would have an effect on ALL files in the Team site.
