Our Teams configuration only allows organization members. But I work with clients outside or our organization regularly. Would a Teams connector to Slack enable me to see my client posts to my slack from within Teams so I don't have to switch between systems?

I know the technical answer is to change Teams to allow people outside the organization. But that is not within my control.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

It appears the last comment on the ability to move conversations to different channels was almost 2 years ago.
    Really?

If Teams is about having the right resources in the right place for the right people, then this is an essential function.
