Thank you for your reports. We released client and service updates this week, that address many MacOS-specific performance issues. We are also aware of recent performance issues with Microsoft Teams meetings, especially on laptops and when using external monitors.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

My MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, 2017 dual core i7) gets extremely hot when using video. I'm using an external monitor (HD) On top of the video feeds lagging the whole laptop becomes very slow. Fix plz!
