I'd like a smart CTRL-F implementation that filters your search query to solely be within the scope of what you are currently viewing.
- If you are chatting with a person, show search results from just that person
- If you are chatting with a team, show search results from within that team
I noticed you already have a little filter icon for the user to specify such scope, so hopefully it'd be a simple matter of detecting which person/team the user is presently on, and then automatically populating the relevant filter-fields that you have.
Feature request is still being worked upon.
Ah nice, I just got version "1.1.00.31860 (32-bit)" now. The behaviour while scrolling during text-selection has improved... Nice... Where's the 'thumbs up' button on this thing? :)
One more minor gripe, no rush for this,I can cope without for now.
1. While using numbered-lists, I sometimes use shift-enter to add line-breaks (I'm guessing it equates to '<br>' in the html?). E.g.
If I copy such text from teams, it removes the line-break and pastes it as:
1. point1-blah1 point1-blah2
Any chance of preserving the line-breaks?
Ok, after using it some more, I can see it's still a little rough around the edges. If I select multiple chat messages that require me to scroll down a lot, it seems to crop out the region I scrolled down to within the copy made. Also, sometimes with these lengthy scrolls, it somethings deselected my text before I get a chance to press CTRL+C (so I tend to press CTRL+C *before* depressing my left-mouse button to try get around this). I'm guessing this stuff is already on your radar, still thought I'd drop the observations here anyway.
I was reflecting on Alvaro's recent feedback, because I was still having trouble copy/pasting text from Teams. So I checked my version, it's "1.1.00.29068 (32-bit)", so pretty-much the same as his.
But when I pasted the text into other apps, it was still looking cruddy.
But then I noticed that he said he copied from teams, and pasted back into teams.
So I gave that a try, and it worked reasonably well (better than I expected)... And then, surprisingly, I tried copying from Teams and pasting into my other apps once more, and it worked better that time too.
Not sure what caused Teams to flip its pasting behaviour. I tried restarting teams, to see if it'd revert back to its cruddy pasting behaviour, but no, it didn't, it pasted nicer from the get-go <shrug>.
