We are excited to announce the 3×3 video view has been rolled out 100% to for Windows and Mac Clients. If you aren’t seeing 3×3 yet, please logout and log back in to the client.

We realize 3×3 is a start, but not good enough… as mentioned, we are continuing to work to include more videos during a meeting, as well as enabling support for mobile devices. Hence, the “partially done” status.

    Please see documentation here: https://support.office.com/article/using-video-in-microsoft-teams-3647fc29-7b92-4c26-8c2d-8a596904cdae

    Enjoy!

This is now the most requested feature, unsurprisingly given Covid-19. I'm concerned that the last update from Microsoft was 14 January and that just said they would update with more details and timing when they have something to share, it's now the end of March and we haven't even got a timeframe or details? This feels like we are either a long way off or the communication isn't very good. A polite suggestion in Microsoft to at least post an update. Also how many video tiles will be supported? Is this going to be the large number that Zoom supports and I think most want or just a modest increase?

We are happy to inform you that you are able to join meetings by choosing “Call me” from the join dropdown on iOS & Android. To use this feature, you need to provide a phone number where you can receive a phone call. If the call is accepted, your meeting audio will switch to the cellular connection. Your personal and work phone numbers, if added to your account, will be available for selection automatically.

The team is working to release this feature for Desktop. I don’t have dates to share at this time, but will keep you posted.

    Thanks!

This is important for our user adoption. We are moving from WebEx to Teams. Many of our users make regular use of call back and are complaining about this compared to WebEx

We are actively working on developing a solution for this. I will update when this gets to testing/validation.
