We will not be doing this request at this time, due to other high priority engineering that the product needs. But we really appreciate the feedback and are listening to every one that you submit in this forum. Thank you!

This feature request has moved to the planning stage. There have also been several small updates that have gone out already, as well.
I’ll keep you posted as I hear more about coming updates.

You should also be able to control the "scope" of search. Limit search to:
- Chats
- Activities
- Files
- Teams
- Channels
- CallsOr any combination of the above. More granular search capabilities with provide the user with better results rather than getting everything from everywhere all the time.

The option to “discard” suggested contacts in your chat list is rolling out to users. We will be making further changes to make suggested contacts more relevant for new users in the future as well, so marking as partially completed. Thanks for your patience with this one.

Allowing deletion of private chat threads is on the backlog.

Make hide "one click". In other words let the user "close" (Hide) the Chat with 1 click. Don't make the user do 2 clicks to clear out "clutter". Active chats are hard enough to keep track of because by middle of the day they scroll off the screen. 1-click Hide would allow the user to keep active chats on the screen and not have to scroll to find them.

We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.

The MS Admin should really change their comment about filling out the survey and needing feedback since the survey is now closed.

We’re currently working on defining a compact mode experience. I will post more details when we have more to share.

As to your "large" user base - I'm sorry I disagree with your statements about "one" size fits all. Apparently, your own management and product planning agrees with my point of view, otherwise the Windows Operating System and may of your other products wouldn't come in multiple versions (Home, Professional, Enterprise, etc.).
Business Users require an efficient UI design. We should not be deprived of that experience because you are trying to satisfy High School Students. I'm not sure what Open Source Developers have to do with this. I fully understand visually impaired, but then have a separate UI setting for them. You do this in Windows itself, why isn't this feature propagated to Teams? You are crippling the ordinary business user's productivity on a daily basis by forcing an inefficient UI design upon everyone. Please consider a complete independent UI for business users based upon efficient design that can be "switched" to (or is the default).
I would suggest that the whole concept of "More" be removed. If the user has not specified any "favorites", then the display would just show the Teams he has added (or have been added for him):
Team 1
Team 2
Team 3
…
If the user has put "Teams" into his favorites, then the display would show:
Favorites:
Team 1
Team 2
…..
___________________ (just put a divider in - and then display the rest of the teams)
Team 3
Team 4
Team ……
I would also suggest for users with huge lists of Teams, add a search bar at the top that would ONLY search Team Names
