We need your feedback! Which button do you like best? Fill out this 3-question survey here: https://aka.ms/ComposeButtonSurvey
Also, we’re coming up against some blocks and our previous ship date of end of year is now going to be early next year. Thank you for your patience. :-)
Please fill out the survey! Tweet me @skprufo if you have any questions.
Also, the IT Admins should be able to associate a distribution list with an existing Team in MS Teams (the members should get notified that the Team is now managed by Organization's IT department).Bogdan Manolache shared this idea ·
Hey Microsoft Teams users — I want you to weigh in on new features around channels and group chats. The engineering team and I have put together this survey to find out how you want to see channels improve. You can fill it out here: https://microsoft.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_esTxHdABLQxKLvn
And I’m still waiting on approval to get you a good update about Private Channels. I can say that we ARE working on it, fervently.
Please check this as well...
Public channels & Shared channels (between Teams)
This is in the works! Fill out this survey if you want to influence the feature: https://microsoft.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_esTxHdABLQxKLvn
This feature request is still working its way through the backlog queue.
I think I have just duplicated this request :(
Hi everyone, I wanted to check in on this ask because it’s died down since GA, and also because the ask is not totally clear to me.
Right now, we provide a way during the team creation process for you to select an existing Office 365 group. Are you asking to be able to do this same thing, but outside of Teams?
Do let me know!
I think I just duplicated this request:
This feature request is still on the backlog. I’m waiting to hear more that I can share.
Please add the posibility to create a shared channel between two or more teams. Each team should be able to name that channel in its own way... and each team owners should be able to exit their team from a shared channel at any time.
Also, please create a "Public" channel (like "General") that could be optionally activated by the owners of the Team, in case the team would prefer to allow anyone from the organization to contact them via this channel (bobody should be able to Unfollow the "Public" and "General" channels).
Hi everyone! I’m happy to share that we’ve been working on this and are at a point where we need your feedback.
We have designs for this multi-tenant feature and are collecting feedback this week. If you are interested in weighing in on this, keep reading…
If you would be interested in participating please contact the user researcher and generally fabulous coworker of mine, David Quiroz (his email is firstname.lastname@example.org). He will schedule you into a time slot and will be the person to conduct the interview. It would only require 30min of your time and would require signing and NDA.
We are looking for five people to participate in a 1:1 session with the researcher. We need people who currently use Teams with multiple tenants/different companies (at least two).
Thank you in advance for your help!
This feature item is still in the works. Unfortunately I don’t have any additional details to share. I will keep you posted as I hear new info from the feature team.
