Thank you for all the feedback.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.
This is a major point that is keeping our company from fully adopting this.
We have groups set up to reflect our departments. We need to assign the department head to a manager role, that can approve time off for the group (department) they are in charge of.
Would also love the ability to alert HR upon approval, with a TEAMS notification.
This item is planned. We will update you as we have more details.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
I can't express enough how much potenial TEAMS has for a work place environment. Can I give you more money? What's it going to take to get this moving faster?
The current issues with teams are preventing full onboarding and user acceptance in my workplace.
Planner = awesome, but needs to integrate with personal outlook tasks bidirectionally (To Do app as well)
The Teams calendar needs to automatically (with options) integrate with Planner and Outlook Calendar.
We lose people with too many seperate cross over applications. Seamless integration is crucial for adoption rate.
Keep up the updates!
This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.
