We are continually working on improving battery life. One thing that may help in the meantime is using Dark theme, which was a top mobile request added to Teams mobile in February.

I thought i was going crazy. Saved a bunch of messages, and then could not find them anywhere. Not even /saved in search bar is working. This has to be fixed ASAP. Its a perfect flow to save message while on the computer, and then read them on the way hope on your phone.

It should just detect what language you are typing in automatically. And switch spell correction to that. I believe this is now a global setting in windows 10, that is not respected by teams desktop app.
So, this is still not fixed. My iPhone 7 with a new battery dies in around 1 hours on a teams call with video. This is just sad. In comparison I could probably run Netflix for more than 4 hours on the same battery.
